Effectiveness of Self Instructional Module (SIM) on knowledge regarding Heart- Healthy diet (HHD) among High School Teachers in selected High Schools.

Abstract

H.R.Sagolli.et.al (2010) reported cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) will be the largest cause of death and disability by 2020 in India. CAD is the leading cause of death worldwide.
To evaluate the effectiveness of Self Instructional Module (SIM) on knowledge regarding Heart- Healthy Diet (HHD) among high school teachers in selected high schools.
The study is conducted with a pre experimental - one group pretest - post test design on a sample of 120 High School teachers.
The study results shows the effectiveness of Self Instructional Module on knowledge regarding Heart - Healthy diet (HHD) namely increased Knowledge level among high school teachers after the intervention.
