Abstract


 

Retrorectal cystic lesions are rare in adults and are the most common congenital entity encountered in the retrorectal

space.1, 2 The most important complications of these cysts are infection with a secondary fistula and malignant degeneration

of the retrorectal cysts.3, 4 In this article we present differantial diagnosis and surgical treatment modalities for retrorectal

cysts.
