Splenic Artery Invasion of Gastric Carcinoid Tumor : Two Case Reports

Abstract


 

Carcinoid tumors rarely cause macroscopic upper gastrointestinal tract hemorrhagies. However, massive upper gastrointestinal tract hemorrhagies caused by gastric karsinoid tumors are far less common. In this paper, two cases which infiltrate to splenic artery and cause massive upper gastrointestinal system are presented and gastric carcinoid tumors are discussed.
