Bilateral Anterior Glenohumaral Dislocation due to Falls From Height

Abstract


 

Traumatic shoulder dislocations are usually unilateral and anterior,5 bilateral shoulder dislocations are rarely seen4. The literature study showed that simultaneous, bilateral shoulder dislocationare defined as a sports injuries, diabetic patients who developed hypoglycemia, the seizure disorders, during electroconvulsive therapy, the various muscle diseases (scapular myopathy, myasthenia gravis), cerebral palsy and voluntary dislocations2,5 We want to report a rare case of bilateral simultaneous anterior shoulder dislocation after falling from a height.
