Yang Liang Boo, Pek Woon Chin, Fan Kee Hoo, Mei Hsia Lai.

Abstract

Atypical presentations of dengue fever might delay the diagnosis and lead to increased mortality and morbidity. Duodenal hematoma is rare and usually related to blunt abdominal trauma. To our knowledge, this is the second case of dengue fever complicated with duodenal hematoma reported in literature.

Key words: Duodenal haematoma, dengue fever, abdominal mass, upper gastrointestinal bleeding.
