Effect of methanol extracts of three dietary plants growing in Egypt on mice fed with high fat diet

Abstract

Study the effect of the methanol extract of three plants growing in Egypt on mice fed a high fat diet on body weight, food intake, liver and kidney index, lipid profile and some serum enzymes. Also, test the effect of the methanol extract of the three plants on the histopathological study of the liver.
The results showed that the three plants are promising to prevent fatty liver disease as they improve all the studyind prameters along 17 weeks.
