Psychological effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on hemodialysis patients

Abstract

During the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, there is insufficient information about the psychological effects and factors that will affect the mental health status of hemodialysis (HD) patients. We aimed to evaluate the psychological effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on HD patients. There is an observational study in secondary-level healthcare services in eastern Turkey. There were a total of 176 respondents. Sociodemographic data of the participants were obtained from the files.
