A Fundamental Study On Youth And Education With Reference To Collegiate Of Education

Abstract

“Educationists should build the capacities of the spirit of inquiry, creativity, entrepreneurial and moral leadership among students and become their role model” – A P J Abdul Kalam.
Youth are dynamic, enthusiastic, innovative and vibrant in nature. Youth show strong passion, motivation and will power which also make them the most valuable human resource for fostering economic, cultural and political development of a nation. A country’s ability and potential for growth is determined by the size of its youth population. Their role in building defense capability of a nation is unquestionably primo. The energy and passion of the youth if utilized properly, can bring huge positive change to the society and progress to the nation. Youth are the creative digital innovators in their communities and participate as active citizens, eager to positively contribute to sustainable development. This prime section of the population need to be harnessed, motivated, skilled and streamlined properly to bring rapid progress for a country.
The major issues concerning youth are as follows:
1. Education
2. Employment
3. Civic engagement
4. Migration
This paper concentrates on the Educational psychology of the student trainees pursuing their B.Ed in a reputed aided educational college (co-education).
There is a significant gap between the trainee teachers and the current scenario of our India. It is evident that there is a lack of connectivity between the resource materials like pen, black board, books and its application in contemporary context through assignments, seminars, and demo classes and so on. Yes, it is vital to be skilled and trained to hone the personality of trainee teachers to interact with students, but it is not vivid about the take away of the majority of trainee teachers from their institution.
Because, it is not only about education, choosing a career and withstanding the profession as their passion emulates job satisfaction. Monotonous atmosphere will ultimately become a challenge while refreshing with a decade or more experience in the teaching profession especially to youth.
